Self described as Uplift angst, British/Colombian Latina, MeMe Detroit sits somewhere between sleazy grit rock grunge and power indie.


Very recently picked as Quarter Finalists in the Hotvox New Blood Isle of Wight competition, The band consisting of MeMe on vocals, guitars, bass & Synth, Kallum McEwen on drums and Joey Strange in bass have kicked off 2022 with a bang. With over 200 gigs under MeMe's belt, they have become known for their high octane, fully immersive live shows as well as a support blanket and friend to a loving fanbase family/community via a regular weekly livestream that stemmed from the early days of the Pandemic and continues to this day.


Championed by BBC Introducing, Fresh On The Net, Kerrang! Radio’s Jonny Doom & BBC’s beloved Janice Long, MeMe is fast gaining traction on the U.K music scene and beyond
