The Orielles

Hailing from Halifax, The Orielles are sisters Sidonie B and Esmé Dee Hand Halford and their best friend Henry Carlyle Wade whom they met at a house party just a few years ago. The then teenagers bonded over their shared love of alternative US bands from the 90s such as Sonic Youth & Pixies as well as pioneering filmmakers including Quentin Tarantino (The Orielles have cited his work in their songs and consider his work a major lyrical and aesthetical influence). Keen proponents of the DIY aesthetic, they learned their instruments on the road through gigging and the band have spent the past few years polishing their sound, with a steady string of singles previously released.

Pale Blue Eyes

Pale Blue Eyes are a young electro-modernist guitar group based in rural Devon. The band have released two singles to date, the Motionless/Chelsea double A-side followed by TV Flicker. Both singles were mixed and mastered by the great Dean Honer (The Moonlandingz, Róisín Murphy, I Monster, Human League, International Teachers of Pop). After the self-released Motionless/Chelsea single, PBE were signed by the esteemed UK Independent label Full Time Hobby.

The band have built their own recording studio – Penquit Mill, set amid the greenery to the south of Dartmoor. Buzzards soared overhead as PBE recorded their forthcoming debut album, again mixed by Dean Honer and scheduled for release in the autumn of 2022.

PBE come from a part of Devon populated by innovative and forward-thinking businesses. The band’s debut single was released with support from Devon’s New Lion Brewery and GroCycle mushrooms. PBE were further aided by Devon’s Green Funeral Company, who also form part of Callender, Callender, Cauty & Drummond Undertakers, the funeral directors for the MuMufictation afterlife memorial programme. Cauty and Drummond are, of course, also know for their work with The KLF and The Justified Ancients Of MuMu.

PBE began playing live relatively recently, cutting their teeth at Sea Change and Port Eliot festivals, as well as supporting Sea Power, W.H. Lung, Penelope Isles and Drahla. Next up is a tour with Silverbacks.

Shelf Lives
Nature TV

FKA Lion Bark were championed by Clash Music, the 405, as well as playing for Burberry Acoustic and Distiller TV, reaching over 680k streams on Spotify. Following the departure of one of the band, they took a short break and have since come back with a more mature sound, but still with the catchy tracks and super smooth vocals. More recently, the Brighton-based band were asked to open for Whitney, Ryley Walker & Swimming Tapes as well as releasing their 2nd EP to positive reviews and radio play. The band are booked in for Wild Paths Festival and Sofar shows throughout the year, as well as just confirming a 6 night tour support for Trudy & The Romance in October. They are currently finishing up their 3rd EP for release later this year.
