Q: What is Lords of the Land Festival?
A: A one day extreme metal festival in Scotland, UK. We aim to bring the biggest lineup to Scotland with each festival. Bands such as: Autopsy, Mayhem, Primordial, Marduk, Venom Inc, Dragged Into Sunlight, Acid Reign, Memoriam, Rotten Sound, Carcass, Napalm Death, Obituary, Voivod, Herod, Extreme Noise Terror, Desecration & Man Must Die.
Q: Where/when is it?
A: Glasgow's famous Barrowland Ballroom on Saturday 1st April 2017.
Q: How can I get tickets?
A: Tickets are available from our website. Click the tickets link on the top of the page.
Q: How much are tickets?
A: Tickets are priced at only £38 + booking fee.
Q: I’ve lost/misplaced my ticket. What do I do?
Q: Is there a minimum age for attending Lords of the Land?
A: Lords of the Land is a 14+ event so unfortunately children below that age are unable to attend.
Q: How do I get there?
A: Directions Address – Barrowland Ballroom, 244 Gallowgate, Glasgow, G4 OTS
On foot: The venue is only 5-10 minutes walk from Glasgow city centre. From central station walk along Argyle Street heading past the main thoroughfare of shops / bars - One street changing at Glasgow Cross Argyle Street becomes Gallowgate. Straight road!
By bus: 2, 60, 60A, 61, 240 and 255 all stop outside the venue or a few minutes walk at most - Journey is 5-10 minutes from City Centre depending on traffic.
Nearest rail station: Glasgow Argyle Street (5-10 minute walk) Glasgow Queen Street (10-15 minute walk) Glasgow Central Station (10-15 minute walk)
Parking is available outside the venue via Pay & Display meters - The cheapest option is to park in the town centre in a multi story over the on street parking and walk to the venue.
Q: Where will I stay?
A: Closest hotels are: Holiday Inn Riverside, Premier Inn George Square, Travelodge Queen Street, Ibis Styles George Square. Our partner EURO HOSTEL offer a discount using code "MATES" when booking your room! Only 10 minutes walk from the venue.
Q: Can my band play?
A: The lineup is currently full - Please register your interest with us for future years via the submission box to the right!
Q: Is there a cloakroom?
A: Yes - There is a cloakroom on the first floor of the venue next to the toilets!
Q: Any Wheelchair viewing/Disabled access?
A: There's a raised platform along the back wall for wheelchair users or disabled customers with great sight lines, Please note there is no lift in the venue. Contact Barrowland direct for any queries or to reserve disabled spaces!

A: Yes, The festival is run by the team behind independent Glasgow venue "AUDIO" and Promoter Hamilton Hunter. There are no 'investors' or funding from outside sources (ie. Doctors/Arts Council)
