Three to five drops under your tongue, whenever you might need a little extra help reconnecting with your natural joy. Perhaps when we allow the natural bubblings of joy to ripple out of us, we give permission for others to do the same... Despite these difficult times, we can still remember to walk with our joy beside us, allowing it to do it's natural work of balancing any fear or murkyness that can come with resistance and discernment around change and the unknown, and the insecurities it can stir up... Sometimes the best relief for difficult times is a sudden breaking into laughter or a dance-move or a silly voice or the baking of a cake because it's Tuesday! Wattle sure teaches us this! She flowers all year round in Victoria, even through Winter! When we embrace joy, we remember to embrace our other parts that aren't so easy to embrace. Joy is something we already posses, if we're quiet enough to notice it... Our natural joy... Joy can be quiet, it can creep up on us... Mine often is. Joy can be loud, it can shake the kitchen with the cackles it draws out of you! I say, if we are going to be good and sit with what lurk in the shadows, then let us also be joyful! Let us laugh on the way to the funeral, if that's what feels real - if that's what feels needed, if that's what ripples out of us! Life would want it of us - who are we to deny ourselves and those around us, of our fullest expressions of joy?
