LA BÊTE BLOOMS - LOW HUMMER
Single
'Low Hummer' is a song juxtaposed, battling depression and loneliness with catchy guitar riffs and fuzz pedals. The Lo-fi Gem is under four minutes long and a staple of the band's live set, a shining example of the bands newfound love of writing simple melodies with ferociously loud guitars.
Lead singer Daniel's brutally honest subject matter depicts crippling anxiety and loneliness, taking the subject matter straight on with defiance and an us against thw world mentality, fuelled by the bands hometown of Hull.

'I can’t eat or sleep, I can’t even breathe until you’re here with me There are times when I won’t move an inch until you come back to me This bed’s my resting place, I don’t have to face you if I hide in the sheets But I owe to us and the guilt’s too much to stay fat and unclean
I get cold sweats; panic takes over me and I forget how to breathe I feel like I’ll die about twenty times whilst I’m watching TV
But you, you’re my low humming pitcher You, you’re my it’s not the end thinker I won’t be around to tell you, but you mean everything, you’re worth every breath You, you’re my all humming shifter
I know it’s all messed up, to see the ones we love burn out and disappear And I’ve tried sometimes to work out why but end up lying right here I’m born lazy, I’m bone idle, outsides out my depth But with time I know I’ll find a home, there’s a part of me left I get cold sweats; panic takes over me and I forget how to breathe I feel like I’ll die about 50 times whilst I’m watching TV
You, you know I’m a mess, you’re all I want, all I need
I can’t eat or sleep, I can’t even breathe until you’re here with me There are times when I won’t move an inch until you come back to me
It’s you, broken you, humming you, you’re my low humming pitcher'
