Karousel Music presents:
QuizWAR! Karousel Music presents in Association with FFWD LDN and Help Musicians: QuizWAR!
The most competitve and ludicrous night in the Music Industry calendar is back by popular demand! Come on cannon fodder, ready your lance of musical righteousness! Polish thy cannon for the pop up pirate! Soak those vocal chords in single malt! Choose your weapons (from amongst your office or social group), and hang on to your reputations! It's the Karousel x FFWD x Help Musicians Music Industry #QuizWAR!
We're back to celebrate what is in our opinion the best event of its kind in the independent music business, FFWD; and the most vital charity in music, our beloved Help Musicians.
How many points will you risk on the legendary 'horse' racing? Are you ready to spin the wheel of fortune?
Teams of 4 or 8 are ideal, up to ten maximum - or drive your tanks down to soho in ones and twos to join a team of freelancers - the night is about meeting good people and having fun - it's the friendliest night you'll come across. Until that first joker is played, that is...

FFWD LDN
FFWD is a future facing music business conference aimed at connecting the people driving positive change in the music industry. The event exists to stimulate new discussions on current issues, pain points, and potential solutions in order to build a healthier, more robust music industry in the future. We've met more good souls at this than anything else. It's a game changer for people making their way through our industry.
FFWD is a future facing music business conference aimed at connecting the people driving positive change in the music industry. The event exists to stimulate new discussions on current issues, pain points, and potential solutions in order to build a healthier, more robust music industry in the future. We at Karousel have met more good souls at this than anything else. It's one of the chief heartbeats of the independent industry, and a big open family for freelancers, just like our nights!
Panels and debates on topics including:
Nuisance copyright lawsuits • Intersectionality and you • What next for live streaming • How will AI is affect music creation and monetisation?
And industry speakers including:
Dr Hayleigh Bosher, Intellectual Property at Brunel Rich Clarke, War Child Records Sakshia Menendez, Diversity Ambassador Claire Mas, COO Driift Gaby Cartwright, Head of Partnerships, LIVE Hazel Savage, VP Music Intelligence, SoundCloud

We in the music industry should all be supporting - by default - the charity that is there for those who give us all the joy of working with, for and in music. Please join us in supporting Help Musicians and their newly founded charity Music Minds Matter. Because they do matter.
Music Minds Matter
Working in music can be tough. Now more than ever, the impact of the pandemic combined with Brexit-related touring challenges and the cost-of-living crisis means musicians’ mental health is under threat, if not already suffering. Music Minds Matter is Help Musicians' dedicated mental health service providing a range of support for the whole UK music community.
If you work in music and are struggling to cope, the Music Minds Matter phone line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week; it doesn’t have to be a crisis, or about music. Music Minds Matter will connect you with an accredited counsellor who can offer emotional support, advice and information. Where appropriate, they may also signpost to other specialist services, offer debt and legal advice as well as access to further support from Help Musicians.
Call Music Minds Matter: 0808 802 8008.
Alongside the phone line, Music Minds Matter offers access to guided support from accredited therapists through peer support groups and specialist services. Developing coping strategies through online self-care sessions is an important way to help you navigate the challenging times. Sometimes it can feel a little daunting, so you are welcome to engage in these sessions as much or as little as you like. Feel free to join in the conversation via the chat box or just sit back and listen, and to have your camera on or off as you feel most comfortable.

Karousel Music CIC: Your tickets help us keep the CIC running so we can do our best to provide advice, pastoral care, live opportunities and a chance to network to artists, musicians and songwriters; and to connect those coming into the business to work in music in the various guises, who care about a better world for creators.
