Line Up
Wolf & Moon, the indie pop duo comprised of Stefanie and Dennis, has announced the release of their third album, "To Get Lost“ (August 11th). The album, which was written as a form of therapy for the duo as they navigated a series of major setbacks is their most personal and introspective record to date. Wolf & Moon has previously released songs such as "Home To Me" (67,222 YouTube views) and "Garden of Potential" (1 million Spotify streams), and has performed on over 130 concerts in 11 countries and 4 continents, including major showcase festivals like SXSW, Reeperbahn Festival and ESNS. They were nominated for the VIA Awards as "Best Newcomers" in 2019 and have received numerous reviews and interviews in print and online media (Freundin, Galore, Schall, Mittelbayrische, Bedroomdisco, Neon Ghosts, Soundkartell, Tonspion), as well as radio plays (e.g. 1Live, SWR 3, Deutschlandfunk, Fritz, bigFM, FluxFM, egoFM, MDR Sputnik) and TV appearances (e.g. ZDF Morgenmagazin, RBB, RBB, NDR and SWR). Their music combines dream pop with electronic elements, with musical influences including Feist, Bon Iver, The XX, Kevin Morby, and Arcade Fire.
Over the past few years, the duo has faced a series of major setbacks, including the loss of two babies and a diagnosis of chronic disease for Stef. The band also struggled with the fallback of two close friends into heavy drug addiction, a devastating experience for them. Despite these challenges, „To Get Lost" is a testament to the resilience and perseverance of „Wolf & Moon“. The songs on the new album address these heavy-hearted and personal topics with honesty and vulnerability, while also conveying a sense of optimism and hope. "Writing this record was our therapy," says Stef. "It helped us to work through some of the toughest times in our lives. We hope that by sharing our experiences, we can help break the taboo and shame that people often feel around issues like miscarriages and chronic illness, and contribute to the movement for gender-equitable medicine." Musically, „To Get Lost“ is a unique blend of styles that reflects the diversity of Wolf & Moon’s influences and experiences. The album cover features a pregnant Stef, symbolizing the hope and joy that the band has found on the other side of their difficult season. A little Baby Wolf has also joined the band and will be touring with them in support of the new album „To Get Lost“ which is set for release in August 11th 2023.

WILL VARLEY
“Excellent... blew me away...” *Q Magazine * “Powerful, political and pertinent” *The Independent *
Over the past ten years Will Varley has quietly been building an army of loyal followers, touring relentlessly from city to city, sometimes even travelling on foot. Along the way he's picked up high praise from the likes of Billy Bragg, Frank Turner and late Pretty Things frontman Phil May. May, who was cited as an influence by both David Bowie and Jimmy Hendrix, became an avid fan of Varley's music before his death, even covering one of his songs on the band's final 2021 album, 'Bare As Bone Bright As Blood'.
The 35 year old songwriter has come a long way since his early days haunting the acoustic nights of South London and busking around on The Underground. He's travelled across Europe and America, as support act for Frank Turner, Valerie June and The Proclaimers and has sold out his own shows as far afield as New York, Berlin, Amsterdam. In 2018 he performed a triumphant headline at London's legendary Shepherd's Bush Empire, just a stone’s throw from a pub he used to play the open mic night at a few years before.
When the lockdowns hit Will took the opportunity to hone his production skills, building a makeshift studio in his basement in Kent and recording a new album himself. A few weeks after it was released he received a call from Platinum selling singer-songwriter Eagle Eye Cherry who had loved the atmosphere he'd created and Will went on to produce his 2022 single 'Hit And Run'.
There is a depth to Will's song writing that sets him apart, and has helped to propel his music far and wide. From sprawling epics like 'Dreamland' and 'When She Wakes Up' which scan more like audio novellas than pop songs, to the hyper-engaging 'Weddings and Wars' in which he attempts to tell a history of the world in three minutes. Varley's songs seem to transcend themselves; marrying vivid imagery, politics, emotion and surrealism to capture his musings in a way that is truly remarkable. As time goes by more and more people are discovering Will Varley, joining the ranks, and finding a true artist, a poet and a source of truth in a world gone mad.
“Will’s the Springsteen of his generation to my ears and sensibilities” - Cameron McVey(Massive Attack, Portishead, Sugababes, Neneh Cherry) "Channelling Dylan at his most poetic, metaphoric and meditative" - Folk Radio UK
Chalk is the three-piece project of Irish musicians and now Academy Award winning filmmakers Ross Cullen, Benedict Goddard and Luke Niblock. The band was formed after they met whilst studying film and realised they shared the same musical vision and ambitions.
Their debut EP ‘Conditions’ has received significant radio support across BBC Radio 1 & 6music. The trio sprung out of the gates live, supporting London's PVA in for their first ever shows, before selling out five dates on their debut headline UK/IRE tour, with two full capacity performances at The Great Escape and packed rooms in London, Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester followed by profile festival appearances across UK, Ireland, France, Austria and The Netherlands. With the release of their debut EP 'Conditions', the band interweave their industrial noise/techno hybrid soundscape and the monochromatic gothic visual landscape they have created for themselves in an evocative and seamless manner.
Inspired by the ferocity and live performance of the likes of Death Grips and The Murder Capital, and informed by the sweaty hardcore dance scenes of their native Belfast (the breeding ground for acts like electronic duo BICEP), Chalk have begun work on their second EP with producer Chris Ryan (NewDad, Just Mustard, Enola Gay)
“Bright, brash and brilliant” - DORK “A riot” - The Independent “An effervescent sense of fun that fizzes throughout” – DIY
Dream Nails is the (r)evolutionary all-queer political punk collective that transcends boundaries. Their music inspires change, action, and hope, going beyond punchy anthems. Formed from a mix of drag shows and deep friendships, they challenge society's norms with their upcoming album exploring "gender fuckery." Dream Nails is not just a band; they are a political statement and a safe haven for marginalised communities.
„Future Superstar in loading buffer mode” is what BBC called her after naming her Song „Twelve Wooden Boxes“ the Track of the Week. From the very start soul artist Becky Sikasa captivated tastemakers and music lovers in UK and Germany. The release shows for Becky Sikasa’s debut EP in Glasgow and Cologne were sold out weeks in advance: Working with award-winning producers and directors Becky shapes her artistic vision and with a sold-out London debut at Blues Kitchen and two impressive performances at The Great Escape Festival Becky is on her way to becoming one of the new voices of UK-Neo-Soul. Sikasa’s songs are scenes from life, art and literature. With a voice as versatile as it is grounded, she delves deep to tie her heart to her words. Trails of vocal harmony weave effortlessly through colourful arrangements to complete explorative, vibrant off-pop tracks. Songs about those questions of belonging, identity and connection. About being more than just one. About the belief in finding a home in the in-between. A home in music. For Becky Sikasa and for all those who listen.
TAYNE emerged as a satirical commentary on contemporary pop music. In the wake of heavy music infiltrating the mainstream, TAYNE aims to push boundaries of conventional "pop music" ideologies.
TAYNE offers an auditory onslaught, punishing sounds where chaos and beauty collide and present a powerful soundscape that engulfs the senses. Weighty textures, industrial soundscapes, metal inspired elements with shoegaze nuances create a rich dynamic contrast with pop music at its core. They have shared the stage with the likes of HEALTH/ Author & Punisher/Acid Mothers Temple.
The band have spent the last year recording material with Wayne Adams of PETBRICK / BIG LAD producing and recording.
