The style kind of reminds me of Madness but much more modern! The guys are from The Netherlands. Kicka ass ska punk! Melodic and catchy songs. The song "Lunatics " is one of the coolest song I heard in a long time. Give them your support and listen here.

Seattle fix

Melbourne duo Seattle Fix present a hushed and moody vibe and their music is dreamy and crafted very well. Dynamic, powerful and soulful. The vocals are easy and nice to listen to. I just wanna sit in my car and drive far far away with their music as a soundtrack for my travel. This is brilliant! Make sure to listen to this gem in the music industry. Wake Up

I have an collaborative playlist and been promoting that on different occasions and when I scrolled that playlist a song popped out and hit my ears. It' s a dutch songwriter that creates fantastic soundscapes in the area of funk, jazz and soul. I was blown away by the fantastic groove in the song "Don't Do It Again". Give him a listen. He's about to release an album in 2018. I'm looking forward to hear that album.

Anna Volpe

A NY -based singer songwriter with brilliant vocal skills, and amazing storytelling. The songs are soft but with a lot of feeling. I love the guitar works and Anna´s soulful voice. Her latest release is "You & You" - make sure you listen to it.

WholeSpirit

A brilliant musician from Sweden creating groovy, soulful and great music. Like myself he plays all the instruments himself. I stumbled upon him in ACR (you know the community I'm a part of) and was floored by "This Is Why Sparks Fly". What a great tune! Make sure you give him a listen. Ha has made a lot of songs in Soundcloud and Spotify.

Slick and groove dance music. Reminds me of old disco sometimes, but also Cerrone and Aniloop once in a while. The music is hypnotizing and makes you wanna dance all night long. Still very melodic and I love the guitars specially in "D1zc0" .

3 Bucket Jones

This song "Melting" made me stop and just listen. What a great piece of music - well produced and composed. And the voices are crisp and heavenly. A new favorite in my collection. Makes you feel good!

In 2007 at age 63 Montrealer Peter Wheeler bought his first guitar. He then went to amazon.com and purchased a book called “How To Play The Guitar for Dummies”! I mean really! I'm so impressed by this dude. I have been listening to his song in the community (Atom Collector Records) for a while now but decided to read about him and stumbled upon his story. And he does great music - be sure to check him out.

And does he deliver? Yes indeed! My all time favourite is "Broken Heart Bleeding Nose" .

Is a fantastic sound scape creator that makes great ambient style kind of music. I love to listen to his music when I need to focus. Also one of the musicians that make the ACR a great community to be a part of. You must listen to "Diodal"

Mikhal is an Israeli-born alternative indie artist living and creating in Brooklyn, NY. Her songs tell poignant, naked songs with a powerful voice. Pay special attention to "Small Song" a fantastic piece! She recently released her debut LP, Daughter of the Sea, in May 2017.

Kahsan

This song blew my head! A strong melody, a fantastic voice and superb lyric. The thing is that I stumbled upon this artist when I was googling myself (yes we all do that...) and mispelled my name (admit it, you too have made the same mistake) and to my surprise found this hidden gem. He's from St.Lous, US and I hope he'll do more music. Show him your love on Twitter if you got the chance!

Mikael Edfelt

This is really local. Mikael is a singer/songwriter I had the honor to both listen to and meet last Sunday on a venue in Stockholm. This fantastic lyric maker and singer writes stories that knocked the public. So smart, funny, witty and made you think twice. He is in my opinon one of the best story teller I have ever heard. And he sings really good!

My latest release is "Sexy, Sexy Lady" a song about an encounter on the bus. It's out now on all major platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, Last FM etc...

Moon Dream

Susan Moss is Moon Dream, a singer/songwriter from US. Her voice is soft and fit perfectly to the melodic soft songs she creates. The soundscape is indeed dreamy but yet powerful and catchy. You should definitely look her up in Spotify! She's also the reason to why I give Pinterest a second chance.

Jon Magnusson

Jon Magnusson is a Swedish songwriter and musician from Stockholm. He sings his own crafted songs in swedish and english. He is also the man behind the Facebook community #monsters - where a bunch of gifted musicians collaborate and share their music and experiences among each other. My personal favorite is "Ode To A Friend".

T. C. Newman

Not in Spotify but an excellent song and melody maker from Finland. And just by an accident my personal favorite above is remixed by TC.

Juxta

Juxta is a post -punk band mainly consisting of one really driven dude John. But it is my understanding that due to collaborations and demands a band is now activated and performing. His music is edgy, crawls under your skin, makes your feet stomp and demand your attention. This is not music you have on low volume in your head phones.

My all time favoritue is "The Beautiful Ones". Check him out! And oh...check also his project Atom Collector Records (https://www.atomcollectorrecords.com/) out. A great site and community with a lof of great music.

Ortense Blue

Ortense Blue is a singer, songwriter with a dark, indie folk style from London. "I Put A Spell On You" is a classic song. Gives me a feeling of a black and white movie, rainy and a dark evening and you walk and curse your loved one. Brilliant song, and very well performed vocally. Be sure to check her out!

Verity White

Straight forward rock! In your face kind of - but still very melodic and catchy. She has a great voice with an exillent pitch. She's from the UK and has been awarded Best Female Indie Artist at the Spiderweb Radio Awards. Be sure to check her out!

Willy Tea Taylor

I had the Weird opportunity to discover his music the same day as I by accident was surfing my neighbourhood to se if there was any live act performing close by. And to my delight Willy Tea Taylor was performing less than 100 m from my house. He is so pure and sincere. His lyric and the way he delivers them is a must see. Hes also a very laidback dude on stage.

Southside Café

These swedes are a tight duo. Southside Café is a collaboration between vocalist Anders Ljung and guitarist/producer Johan R Norberg. Their debut album “Monday nights at Southside Café” was released in december 2016. The odd thing is that me and Johan wrote a song together a decade ago but never met. Until a year ago in a Facebook group. Small world! Their songs are slick, well produced and melodic.

RAVEN

Got to know Raven thorugh a site that a fellow muscian build called ATM. A great songwriter and she rap/sings cool songs. With a lot of dynamics and well thought bits in all her music. This is music that wants your attention and you better listen carefully. EMD and rap - how can you not like this!

MoeBuster Moe (Buster Sverre Lennart Söderström), actor, singer - songwriter, born August 12, 1991 in Stockholm, Sweden. I really like his voice and he composes great songs and the production is great. You should definetly listen to his 5 song EM "Something Worth Sayin'". Something Worth Sayin'

Tracy Colletto

Tracy Colletto is from Philly, US and in my opinon a fantasic songwriter with a wonderful voice. Discovered her song "Patmos" in a Facebook group and got blown away. Had her songs on repeat the entire work day. Soft but yet with an sincere intensity.

Högni

This is so unbelievble good! Blow my mind. The sound, the instruments, the feeling and his voice! Icelandic composer and singer Högni, better known as the front man of indie rock band Hjaltalín and previous member of electronic group GusGus, as the newest addition to Erased Tapes with his solo debut album Two Trains – available worldwide on October 20th 2017. Listen to "Komdu Meö".
