Ideal Surreal is delighted to present the first of four 2019 Karma Kafe showcases, and golly gosh this is a blinder.
We've invited the fantastic Wonk Unit to perform in our fine city. They are one of the best Punk Rock bands around, we love them, we think you will too!!
Ukulele punks The Pukes are also heading up the A11 to perform classic punk rock songs, but like you've never heard before.
Discharge Lounge make a welcome return to the fine city circuit, expect Funk, Calypso & Ska influences with an energetic live show featuring costumes & an atmosphere of joyful irreverence.
Post punk/power pop band I Said Goodbye are also appearing, this Nozza lot are for fans of The Get Up Kids, Tellison and Saves The Day. Debut album "fairweather" out now on Little Rocket Records!
Prey Drive - who are making their Ideal Surreal Debut – will be performing their Circa Survive, Further Seems Forever & Thrice influenced alternative rock songs
Indie-Punksters Space is Big complete the billing; they're are a band characterised by idiosyncratic dual vocals and progressive, cosmic-sized slices of punk-indie-rock.
We have also decided to keep the ground floor mic open to any who wish to perform. We'll be setting up a couple mics so please do feel free to pop along to play some songs, although please get in touch first on booking@idealsurreal.co.uk so we know names and numbers.

we're super excited, we hope you are too!!!
