Alistair Mackenzie

Alistair Mackenzie is making his HURSTfolk. debut this year. A singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he brings a distinctive folk and bluegrass flavour to his performances. A professional musician for over 13 years, Alistair plays guitar, banjo and mandolin—often on instruments he has built himself.

Local audiences will know him from regular gigs at The Hop Tub in Hurstpierpoint, where his sets mix folky covers and Dylan and Neil Young songs with his own original material. His writing carries the same spirit and storytelling tradition that makes his shows so engaging.

The concert takes place at Hurst Works, a new coworking and meeting space in the heart of Hurstpierpoint, where a bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the evening.
