Heir are a five piece alt-pop band from Leeds. They have spent the last year stamping their unique take on modern pop music, combining powerful harmonies and hooks with infectious rhythms, grit and organic song craft. Releasing two BBC backed singles they have since gained support slots with Lawson, Honne, The Dunwells and Karima Francis and been featured on national radio. At a sell out gig at 360 Club, Leeds, the band released their highly anticipated debut EP 'When The Lights Went Out'. With this release the band enjoyed their first headline tour across the UK and Europe as well appearances at festivals such as Liverpool Sound City.
Already beginning to carve out a space for herself in Manchester’s music scene, Danish native IBEN moved to Manchester in 2012. Starting her journey in January 2017 with her first release "Tell Me", IBEN takes influences from artists like Kimbra, St. Vincent, Christine & The Queens and Sampha. Her sound is diverse, exciting and fresh, but still classic.
Her debut release 'Tell Me' was positively received by BBC Introducing Manchester. ‘ILOVEMANCHESTER' also ranked IBEN in their “top 5 local bands making it big in Manchester”.
From strong hooks to mellow Scandinavian RnB, IBEN’s taste is endless and ever growing. Constantly drawing from a range of creative influences, IBEN has a sound that is sure to gain attention.
