Six friends, half who had never been in a band before or even sung, formed Jody and the Jerms in Oxford, England, in the Autumn of 2019. With just one raucous gig before lockdown, the band kept writing, recording and honing their blend of melodic and uplifting indie/alt rock and pop - with a sold out vinyl album released (Deeper - Sept 2020), and a slew of well received singles and national airtime on Radio X and BBC 6 Music. The six-piece band have drawn comparisons to The GoGos, Darling Buds and Kirtsy MacColl, and are an exciting prospect live.

"It’s almost like power pop, a bit Bangles... or jangle pop. Lovely."

Radcliffe & Maconie, BBC 6 MUSIC (April 2021)

"Jody had to be coerced into singing, and she does it really well. It's good isn't it!"

Janice Long - BBC Wales (April 2021)

"Jody and the Jerms, sounding sparky! Like bands used to sound."

Mickey Bradley - The Undertones/BBC Ulster (Feb 2021)

“Upbeat sonic ear-candy from Oxford. Pure pop but just enough angst to give it an edge. Cool."

Tim Livingston - Radio Warfare (Jan 2021)

MOA is a singer, songwriter and producer who creates and performs what she refers to as "Bipolar pop".

MOA’s music is an enchanting merge of sickly sweet pop and fearlessly provocative punk. The style and lyrics derive from a life of complex mental struggles, landing her in a world of ecstatic highs and sinister lows. As a result, the self appointed ’Sertraline Queen’ started using her experiences with bipolar disorder to her advantage, and has spent the last year assembling a line of indisputable alt-pop pieces, discussing everything from female empowerment to mental health.

Swedish born MOA is based in London, where she has been honing her craft since a young age. She left Sweden for the thrill of the suburban capital of the UK, but brought with her the ferociousness of the Scandinavian winters.

bukky sky is an alternative pop artist living in London. So far releasing singles ‘Amazing’, ‘Obsession’ and ‘Meditations’ from EP project "Brave in Love", the Bradford born artist has recently been played on BBC Radio London on the Robert Elms Show, interview by Jason Solomon, with his two music videos being included in the London International Short Film Festival and Seattle's Local Sightings Film Festival. Hailed by "Still Water" magazine as "a refreshing take on the self-assured nature of modern day pop", "Obsession" has most notably received traction from Soho Radio's Jeff the Fish, Kiss FM's Jodie Bryant, on her "Discover Monthly" show and Future Radio's "New Music Review" by Toby Newton. Selling out two headline shows at HWK London on September 15th and the Servant Jazz Quarters November 11th, bukky sky is now preparing to release his EP, ‘Brave in Love’ January 21st 2022. To celebrate the release of the EP, bukky will be performing a headline show at The Old Blue Last on Saturday 5th March 2022. Described as "Timeless" by Sonic Fruit, the Arctic Monkeys and Smith's-inspired bukky sky has just received an award of funding from Help Musicians to deliver a second EP in 2022.

Bastie is a former ‘BBC Introducing Artist of the Week’ who has received extensive airplay from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Recently, he was a finalist in the UK Songwriting competition (judged by Brit and Grammy award winning artists). He is influenced by the likes of Lily Allen, Bowie and Jamie Berry.

BBC presenter Andrew Marston commented on Bastie’s sound - “Infectious melodies and emotive lyrics from an artist at the beginning of an illustrious career”. Bastie used the lockdown(s) to hone in on his songwriting; the songs which emerged caught the attention of producer Nick Brine (produced on Oasis & Arctic Monkeys records) having discovered him on local radio. The pair started working together on Bastie’s new material at Rockfield Studios early in September.

Recently, Bastie released ‘Lullaby Highs’. The song was premiered by Hot Press Magazine. Hot Press: ‘The only way is up for the English talent. Hot Press are certainly excited to see what indie-pop anthems he emerges with next’

Bastie can be seen gigging most nights around Herefordshire and in London venues including The Bedford, Lion Coffee + Records, The Fiddler’s Elbow and at numerous Hotvox events. He also looks forward to playing at a number of festivals this year such as Boardmasters, The Big Feastival, and as a main stage opener at various Pub in the Parks.

Born in Uganda and raised in Newcastle, Victor Ray is the sensational 22 year old singer, songwriter, acclaimed for singing at well known locations around London.

Having moved to London three years ago to attend BIMM, a renowned music school, Victor initially started busking to earn enough money to pay for his studies. This time gave Victor the opportunity to perfect his performances and over the last six months has seen his hustle translate to a strong and loyal online following whilst performing covers of his favourite artists.

With a slew of songs ready to be unleashed, this year will mark the start of an exciting era for Victor as he releases the first songs from his solo project. Taking inspiration from the likes of Sam Cooke, J Cole, Ed Sheeran and Adele fans describe his voice as insane, beautiful, and magical. Having already found fans as diverse as Cee-Lo Green, Shontelle, Mario and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 2022 promises to be a very exciting year for this young, prodigious talent.
