The Road are an acoustic blues & folk group from London inspired by sixties & seventies rock acts including The Doors, Neil Young, Simon & Garfunkel, The Velvet Underground, Jefferson Airplane & Bob Dylan. Band members include Robbie Ransom on lead guitar, vocals and harmonica, Fred Halliday on rhythm guitar, slide guitar and vocals along with Ali Gill on bass guitar and backing vocals. All band members are original songwriters.

This is Hannah’s first time at the Half Moon. Heavily influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Carol King & Rumer, expect gorgeous harmonies, tender moments and toe tapping tunes.

“That was so beautiful. Completely hypnotising – I feel like I want to have you by my side every night singing softly and everything will be OK.” Geeta Pendse, The A Word – BBC

Hannah enjoys a varied career as a songwriter, choral director and session singer. She regularly collaborates with hit writer Michael Garvin (George Benson’s Never Give Up on a Good Thing along with 22 other number 1’s) and much of her set tonight features songs the pair have written together.

She has been BBC Introducing Track of the Week three times on her hometown station BBC Radio Leicester, and new radio drama Greenbourne have used four of her original songs. Hannah supported award winning folk group Blazin’ Fiddles at their most recent sold out London show.

A versatile musician, she also composes for choirs. Her piece Winter Lark dedicated to ‘lock down larks’ written during the 2020 pandemic was premiered on Scala Radio, and Ray of Sunlight was recently performed by the London Symphony Orchestra’s Discovery Youth Choir.

Hannah is joined by Greg Saunders on guitar, Ed Blunt on keys , Meg Ella Cello & BVs & Katy Ellis - Violin & BVs.

Yasmine Gill, a natural songstress, honed her keen ear for soul and R&B later in life after growing up listening to traditional jazz and blues records.

Blending influences from contemporary artists like Snoh Aalegra and Lianne La Havas, Yasmine creates lush sonic landscapes through the honest sincerity found in her music and lyricism. The Italian - Canadian singer-songwriter and pianist started her musical career in 2015, performing at concert venues across Montreal and Toronto. She now moved to London, and is looking forward to explore the vibrant musical landscape that the city offers.

Coachella Music Festival performing artist Cara Frew is a South African born singer-songwriter whose music is wrapped in pop vocals and an earthy feel, with organic elements that are driven by acoustic guitar and African drums. Cara’s debut album, “Flame,” was released through Sony Music Entertainment worldwide, with her hit single, “Free,” nominated for a SAMA, her collaboration with American DJ SNBRN, “You Got Me,” reaching over ten million plays on Spotify & Soundcloud and album spiking interest as she opened for internationally acclaimed UK band "The Script" on the South African leg of their world tour.

On home soil, Cara joined forces with one of Africa’s biggest exports, world-renowned DJ and music producer - Black Coffee. ‘’I’ll Find You’’ was the first release off Black Coffee’s 2015 album. The collaboration afforded Cara the opportunity to perform at Ultra Music Festival Miami, Ultra Music Festival South Africa and Sónar Johannesburg.

Cara studied at Berklee College of Music and has had recent sync placements on ABC hit series Pretty Little Liars and Vanderpump Rules. She has completed a Production Course at the Scratch Academy in Los Angeles, received a Master Certificate for vocal performance, piano, production, song writing and music theory at the Malie Kelly Vocal Academy in South Africa and went on to further her knowledge at the Song Writing School of Los Angeles, where she gained first-hand experience in song writing and studio production. Having worked in LA it wasn’t long before Cara had the opportunity to write and record with musical greats such as Lauren Christy and Andre Lindal, the creative duo behind Kelly Clarkson’s Grammy-Award winning "Stronger". Listing Amy Winehouse and Lana Del Rey as some of her favorite artists, it was a dream come true to record her first four-track EP "Come Close to Me" with Daniel Heath who was responsible for Del Rey’s "Blue jeans" and "Young and Beautiful". All four tracks were co-written with Stefan Skarbek who worked closely with Amy Winehouse.

Cara is no stranger to the international scene. She headlined the live stage at Ultra Music Festival in Singapore, performed throughout Toronto at Canadian Music Week, and sold out shows in Los Angeles at Soho House. Cara also took the stage at Johnny Depp’s iconic Viper Room, a nightclub located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

There is more to this artist than what meets the eye.
