Good Foxy are a group of boyhood friends who began their lives as musicians in the Summer of 2013. With over 500 gigs under their belt they have gone from strength to strength without the backing of a record label. The band have recorded their first EP and debut album, racking up 22,000 views on their first music video "High Watt" in the process. Their fearsome live reputation has garnered numerous support slots with acts like Status Quo, Alabama 3, Big Country and The Doors Alive. It is a reputation which now ranks them amongst the Northern music scene's most impressive, animated live acts.

Their self-titled debut album, fan-funded through Kickstarter, has recieved rave reviews:

Rosy Greer of Lancashire Blues Archive praised the "high standard of musicianship," "fresh approach," and "quality of the material," and predicted that "Good Foxy are certainly going to be noticed in the near future. I can only give them the highest praise. The CD is brilliantly recorded and so well mastered. 10 out of 10."

Sue Ashcroft of Fireworks Magazine praised "sublime songs" and proclaimed "young people DO know how to do it! I absolutely love it!"

The band's style is eclectic and (new tracks will suggest) ever-evolving. Its wide ranging roots take in the halcyon rock of the 70's; with a nod to Led Zeppelin and The Doors. However, their sound also contains shades of more restrained acoustic artists like Nick Drake and Tim Buckley, as well as groovy rhythms suggesting the band's love of sixties soul and funk. With the spirit of America's great folk-heroes The Band and Crosby Stills and Nash, Good Foxy deliver a unique musical concoction which stands out on today's sonic landscape.
