'In Dreams We Fly' is the debut album from Glass Angel. It includes nine slices of melodic power-pop, drawing influences from New Wave acts such as XTC, The Police, The Replacements, Blondie and Gang of Four.
All band members have played in various Bristol bands since the early 1990s.
Singer/guitarist Shaun McCrindle has self-released 3 albums since 2005: Family Man, Come Around and The Wonder are all available to stream on Spotify. Shaun previously played guitar with the Blue Aeroplanes and John Matthias.
John Slattery plays bass in Glass Angel and also provides backing vocals (and bouzouki on some of the recorded tracks). John has played in Bristol bands such as McDowell and Snatch It Back, with Groundhogs' drummer Ken Pustelnik.
Jeff France plays drums in Glass Angel and has many years of experience in Bristol bands, including K-Passa and Jebo.
Jerome Clough plays synth in Glass Angel. He is also a singer-songwriter who recently self-released his album Insulin Junky on bandcamp.
'In Dreams We Fly' also features backing vocals from session vocalist Michaela Fedeczko.
