Written for a play back in 1989 (different tune), this song expresses the secret longings of a typical 1970s housewife. Have times changed? I don't think so. The only difference nowadays is that most married women have to go out and do boring jobs as well as the boring household chores. Also my first attempt at writing - and playing - blues ukulele.
