False Heart Premiere The Strangers: Prey At Night in celebration of synchronisation deal.
Rock band False Hearts hosting hometown premiere of Hollywood movie The Strangers: Prey At Night in celebration of synchronisation deal.
St. Ives based rock band False Hearts are delighted to announce that one of their tracks has been licensed by Universal Music Group to feature in the box office movie The Strangers: Prey At Night, which is set for UK release on May 4th. The band will be attending the first showing of the movie at Cineworld in Huntingdon, and are inviting local music fans to join them in celebrating this feat on May the 4th.
The track ‘Cynical Love’ was self-published by the band in November 2017. Following a period of hard work promoting the single it caught the attention of directors in the U.S. who were very excited to include the track in The Strangers: Prey At Night; the sequel to Universal Pictures 2007 horror movie The Strangers, which stars Liv Tyler and grossed $82m at the box office.
“We’re so grateful for this opportunity” said Emma Hodgson, the band’s frontwoman. “We’ve worked so hard producing and promoting our music in an arena that’s notoriously difficult to achieve any kind of break through, and it’s fantastic to get such a high-profile feature so soon in the band’s journey. We’re now receiving enquiries from radio shows and promoters in L.A. and New York, and I can’t wait to see where this momentum takes us over the next few months!”
‘Cynical Love’ can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, YouTube and all major music platforms.
