02/11/2018 - What happens next?

On 31st October 2018 our Community Share Offer ended successfully after we managed to achieve our maximum target of £300k with around 400 people investing.

The Community Benefit Society (Exchange Venue Bristol Limited) will take over control of Exchange from 2nd January 2019. Between now and then we will with the current running company (Bristol Live Arts CIC) to manage the changeover effectively.

Due to GDPR regulations we will not receive contact details for our investors until Ethex (the company that managed our Share Issue) have carried out all their necessary investor checks. Once we receive these, we will be in touch with all our investors to discuss the next steps - These will include claiming your investor rewards, your interest in playing an active part in the CBS and to let you know about our up coming members events. We hope to be able to do this before the end of November.

In terms of investment, our plan is to try and carry out the majority of the work with as little disruption to our programming as possible. We hope to make some initial changes in January, but expect to carry out most of the work in summer 2019 when the festival season starts and we are generally hosting less events.

We will continue to post updates via our website and social media, but if you have questions we are happy to discuss via email or arrange to meet - You can contact us at info@exchangebristol.com
