FAQ

Q. I represent an artist – How do I get a gig at Exchange?

A. Our In House staff mostly fill our diary with bookings from external promoters. We actively encourage local bands to take a DIY approach in promoting their own shows and are happy to offer a discounted rate on hire in these circumstances. By promoting your own shows you can not only make a lot more money for all artists involved (when compared to the £1 per head flyer deal), but you can also curate the event to ensure that you are playing with similar artists. If you are interested in this option please email iwan@exchangebristol.com – If you are after a specific support slot then you will be able to find out which promoter is programming the event via the event page and contact them direct. Most promoters can be found via Facebook / Google Search, but we are unable to give out our Promoter’s emails.

Q. Where can I buy tickets for events at Exchange?

A. From the 'What's On' tab above.

Q. I don’t seem to have received my ticket / e-ticket? What should I do? Will I be able to get in without one?

A. Please contact the ticket seller directly. They will contact the promoter for the event. Always remember to check your Junk Mail first as many customers find e-tickets there. If you bought a ticket directly through our website please contact support@musicglue.com

Q. I have lost an item at Exchange – Who do I contact?

A. Email info@exchangebristol.com and we'll take a look for you. Please note we are only able to keep a hold of lost property for seven days

Q. The event I wish to attend says sold out on your website – Will there be tickets left on the door?

A. Unfortunately not. Take a look at the Facebook event as there are usually people re-selling tickets.

Q. Do you have a cloakroom?

A. Yes, it costs £1 per item. Please ask at the Bar.

Q. What is your re-entry policy?

A. Due to licensing restrictions we are unable to allow re-entry after 11pm. There is a smoking area you can use after 11pm, but you are not allowed to drinks outside after 11pm.

Q. Where is the best place to park?

A. After 5pm there is free bay parking on Old Market Street and around the back of the venue near Gardiner Haskins. Alternatively you can park at Cabot Circus Car Park which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the venue.
