 Release Date: 29/09/17 After two years of ongoing collaboration and development, Eugene Capper & Rhodri Brooks are set to unveil their debut album, Pontvane, on 29th September 2017. Individually, both Capper and Brooks have developed back catalogues of diverse musicality and influence, incorporating elements of surf, lo-fi, Americana and psych. Their first release as a duo further emphasises this eclecticism, effortlessly stitching together disparate sonic fragments into a cohesive, compelling whole.

Fittingly, Pontvane was largely recorded by JT (Islet, Cate Le Bon, Them Squirrels) in Pontvane Farm, as well as Fitzhamon Lane Studio between 2015 and 2017. The album features a range of additional collaborators and vocalists lending their skills, including Girl Ray on ‘Scary Shoes’ and Elspeth Annie on ‘Kingsland Road’.
