Escapists are a four piece from London who blend dreamy soundscapes with pulsating rhythms and lush vocals to create their own brand of Dark indie rock

Following the release of their Burial EP, a BBC introducing slot at Reading and a tour supporting Imagine Dragons Escapists capped off 2012 with a sold out show at London's Old Blue Last.

2013 found them hiding away to write and record an album with James Kenosha (Pulled Apart by Horses, Rhodes, Dry the River).

Coming out of the traps with a bang in 2014 with the release of Breaking it Up charting in the hypemachine top 20 and sprinting to 40,000 plays on soundcloud in 3 weeks Escapists started to rapidly build their fan base. Following sold out shows at the Borderline and Hoxton Bar an Kitchen Escapists released their second single Blood which once again hit the hypem top 20 and received radio play from Radio 6 Music and XFM.

July saw them release third single eyes which gained more than 200,000 soundloud plays in a month and was added to the XFM evening playlist. They finished the month with a sold out show at upstairs at the Garage to celebrate the release of their debut album Only Bodies.
