Emmanuel Nwamadi is the name of a Nigerian born British Soul/Rock singer who developed his craft at the University of Westminster - the same school that produced Michael Kiwanuka and Jamie Woon.
In the best part of 2015 Emmanuel won the eyes and ears of the public during his time on The TV show The Voice, broadcast on BBC One.
.
He reached the finals and was mentored by Ricky Wilson of The Kaiser Chiefs who said about him: “the grace and voice of an angel… he has a gift.” Find out more about the beginning of Emmanuel’s journey on The Voice here on a forthcoming video to be shared on his Youtube Channel.
Emmanuel took time out following his appearance on The Voice to complete his studies before releasing a follow up single to his debut single "6IX", titled "Watching You" in November 2017. The single is described as a ‘piece of his heart’.
Emmanuel is now gearing up for a string of dates leading up to more gigs and festivals this summer around the country.
Breathing and living music on a daily basis, Emmanuel aims to create timeless classics which evoke feelings through his music and lyrics – using the versatility of his voice to impress the nation just as he did in 2015.
Not known for not being shy with his feelings and emotions, Emmanuel demonstrates this through story telling told in song form as he creates emotive music that is beautiful to listen to and evokes feelings through music and lyrics.
Before the live finals of The Voice 2015 Emmanuel visited the University’s Harrow Campus to give students a performance. He remains a major positive influence to students currently studying on Westminster music courses.
