A British DJ living in Berlin with a 45-year career, more than 4,500 gigs and 1,500 radio shows under his belt, he has been involved in the experimental art scene in Berlin-Mitte since the early 90s, became a member of the Berlin artist collective Kunst Haus Kule and was a member of Tacheles for 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall where he was a resident DJ. He also participated in Documenta (no10) and as part of the audiovisual installation team of Staendige Vertretung. Later, he was programme director of dj.sets.com, a pioneer in DJ net radio, and one of the longest-running events in the history of Berlin's electronic club culture, Dangerous Drums, in legendary clubs such as Tresor. He organised, in 2014, the Berlin Burning Man Conference post-event Chill out, and is still active in two projects, Dangerous Dreams Studio and Dub Intervention and is a true legend of the Berlin DJ scene. His uninterrupted radio work for more than 30 years continues every month on Berlins Cashmere Radio (Dreamtime) and every Saturday night at 8pm (10am JST the following day) on The Face Radio Brooklyn (Dub Interventions). For two seasons, starting in 2022, he has been running subculture Dj workshops for students aged 10-22, receiving rave reviews from students, classmates, parents of students and related organisations. The success of the workshops is due to his unusual teaching methods based on his 50 years of musical experience as a musician and DJ.
