Jumping into January
Happy 2018 to all of the Dishy Tangent Tribe wherever you are!!
Well 2017 was a big year for the band with performances on stages, in studios, venues, fields, barns and pretty much anywhere thinkable across the uk and beyond. We entertained crowds both old and new at gigs, private family gatherings, birthdays, fundraisers, always bringing our brand of fun and positive energy. Our road team have helped us move our show to some remote locations (thanks Scott K and Scott M, Ryan and Tour Manager Laura)
*Getting Out there *
We kept on with the activity right through December and made our presence known across top industry event including the Dice Records Christmas Party at The Notting Hill Arts Club, where we played earlier in the year. We managed to cement our links and work with** Big Narstie** will be on rotation soon! It was a brilliant night an thanks to the management team for looking after us. The live music showcase was top class with performances from Scouse Tremz, Izzie Gibbs, Irish Paddy and Big Narstie and DJ Cable working the decks.
2018 sees us continue the hard work with 2 music videos in development, a return to Bristol to play a special event for our friends at BARBIE and 365Bristol and final work on the Timeless Music Album Launch Tour. We've pulled all the stops and called in some major support to help us on our first launch tour. So far we're proud to announce support from:
* Bad Sidekick
* DJ Max Denham
* Kestra
We're also negotiating to bring more supporting talent onboard for the tour so keep an eye on our social media for the latest news.
The BARBIE Industry Post Xmas Party
After our appearance for BARBIE at their DINEMA event at Bristol Memorial Stadium in the summer, we were asked to play their xmas event. Our friend and Dishy fan Andy told us what he was planning and we jumped at the chance to re-join a familiar line-up of This Human Condition, Stereo Kela and Bashema. We'd never experienced the Lanes before, but we had a great experience. Just 7 days into 2018 we were playing through a brand new PA system with a captive audience of 500 sets of ears all intent on having a good time. Our very own DJ Sonic was on hand to drop a few Dishy Tangent remixes and dancefloor favourites for the drum and bass fans which set the scene for our live set.
Head over to our Facebook page here where you can view the live stream from 365Bristol from the event.
