Secret Chord Records: Recorded with producer Sam Bates at the helm at The Ladder Factory studio in Oxfordshire, the EP takes the template laid down by the bands early demo’s and turbo-charges the math-meets-punk-meets-grunge sound, creating some huge rock songs with massive hooks, melodies and riffs, whilst retaining some of the clever little math-rock complexities the band still love. Taking a very direct and edgy path lyrically these 5 tracks are dirty, raw and dark anthems with huge hooks. This unification of the band’s more intricate musical characteristics with the more prosaic huge riffs and big melodies has created what could be best described as a musical scud missile – smart enough to be guided down your chimney, powerful enough to blow the roof off!
