Daniel Gadd is a songwriter and composer from South Africa, based in London, UK.
His debut album ‘As If in a Dream I Drifted at Sea’ was recorded by the ocean in Kalk Bay, Cape Town and sounds of the street, birds and passing trains can be heard blending into the songs. Featuring acoustic guitar, vocals and the occasional harmonica, there's a deep folk influence in the story-driven lyrics. It's an album best listened to when the rain is a-fallin', the wind is a-howlin' and your one true love just sailed away to Italy.
He has supported GoGo Penguin at Cambridge Junction and been featured on the France Inter radio show “Very Good Trip” hosted by Michka Assayas.
