A Celebration Of New Industry, In The Heart Of The Old
City Of Industry is a three day showcase of music, food, beer and art taking place at Northern Monk Brew Refectory in Holbeck on 14th - 16th August 2015.
Initially a collaboration between Northern Monk Brew Co and Leeds based promoter and festival High & Lonesome, City Of Industry quickly grew to include a formidable list of Leeds' independents and individuals from across Food, Beer and the Arts.
The launch party will take place on Friday 14th August and feature sets from DJ Format, Fingathing, Get Machine, Destroy! & Special Guest DJ’s. The party will also see the launch of a new exhibition of artwork curated by Drew Millward and Colours May Vary, which will run for two weeks. Tickets for the launch party will cost £10.
Saturday will be an all day party, taking place outside Northern Monk Brew Co. With an outdoor stage curated by High & Lonesome Festival and Hide & Seek Records, a gin bar from Portobello Road Gin and all of the food traders serving some of the best food Leeds has to offer there will be no shortage of things to eat, drink and see. In the evening the top floor of Northern Monk will host a selection of some of Leeds’ best DJ’s as well as a huge selection of beer from a selection of some of the most exciting breweries from across the world.
Saturday night will see the top floor of Northern Monk host a free entry celebration of all of the best parts of Leeds. Special guest DJ’s with representatives from Belgrave Music Hall, Bundobust, High & Lonesome, Northern Monk, Super Friendz & more. Exhibition open and all food and drink available throughout!
