Chris Mossop is invited back to Europe for Spring Tour. This time it starts in Hamburg at the atmospheric Freundlich+Kompetent. Well known for its chilled atmosphere that really compliments singer-songwriter music. After this its on Switzerland where Chris is really starting to solidify a following making his 5th appearance there in 12 months. Shows have been booked at the House Concert, Piazza & Wettingen. The whole tour celebrates the new release of Chris Mossop first single of 2019 called 'What Dreams Are Made Of'.

What a year its been with so much crammed in.

The year started off with a bang with what would be the first tour of three in Europe building on a fanbase growing in Switzerland, Holland & Poland. Invitations to support slots at the famous Half Moon Bar in Putney followed and off the back of that some radio appearances on Ridge Radio, Black Diamond Radio, Wandsworth Radio and topped off with BBC London Radio. The summer brought another tour of Europe increasing the number of dates and visiting new towns in Holland and Poland. After that it was back to the UK where Chris played at this years exciting Wellowfest Festival with top 90's band Space as the headline act. In June Chris Mossop also released his second E.P. 'Fly Away' on Spotify, Itunes & Deezer. In August came the world famous Edinburgh Fringe festival where Chris played a whopping 32 shows in 24 days with notable appearances at the Edinburgh Foodies Festival and The big stage at the Pear Tree. Autumn brought Chris's final tour of the year and added a new country in Germany while solidifying growth in appearances again in Switzerland, Holland & Poland. One of the best experiences was playing a 'Silent Disco' style gig where everyone wore headphones to listen to the performance. To finish the year Chris has been performing in London & Edinburgh over the Christmas period with shows at London's Winter Wonderland and Edinburgh's Festival Village.

WHAT NEXT IN 2019??

Over the winter Chris will spending a lot of time in the recording studio to put down five brand new tracks with release of the first track planned for April 2019. To keep up to date with gig dates and new releases follow his Facebook and Instagram pages @chrismossopacoustic.

The exciting time has come with the release of Chris Mossop's debut E.P. Grace. Available on Bandcamp or if you prefer you can get your very own signed copy by attending the E.P launch gig on November 27th 2017 at the Half Moon Bar in Putney.

The E.P. has three tracks and gives a wide spectrum of Chris's repitoire.

Track one - Grace: An upbeat rythmic song and a nice way to start your day. It personifies that moment of just being content and happy in love. Its amazing the different places we find inspiration; take the last verse for example which used the scene from 'Friends' for inspiration where the day after Ross got with Rachel for the first time and he's skipping along the street.

Track Two - The Walk of Shame: We've all been there before right? Walking home in the morning wearing the clothes we were in from the night before. Well this song tells that story in a humerous light and with quite the catchy tune to suit. Who is to blame when you do the walk of shame? ;-)

Track Three - Hurting In contrast to the first track 'Grace' Hurting explores that feeling you get when its nobodies fault the relationship ended but you would feel a bit better morbidly knowing the other person is feeling the same as you. Chris puts his heart on his sleeve on this track.
