🎸🎸🎸Augmented Reality and music! Are you ready?
Have you heard of** Augmented Reality** or mixed reality? Lets call Augmented Reality AR. AR is similar to VR Virtual Reality except with** AR **you do not need to wear any head set or any other hardware, all you need is a smart phone. 🎸🎸🎸
I am really proud to say as far as I know I am the** first Indie artist in the world to be utilising **AR within my music efforts. Here is an example of** AR** in action. In this case it is like a thank you message from the artist to the fan that comes in the form of an exclusive video.. check this out:

I have been working with AR just 2 months now, its early days yet but I believe that amazing content is going to be created from Living room concerts, selfies with the artist, birthday greetings, 3d models where you would place the band members around your living room then press a button and they start jamming in your living room. 🎸🎸🎸
Here are some industry quotes.
"Rolling Stone: Is there in anything in music happening right now that gets you excited … where you can hear it and say, “Oh, this is clearly paving a way for the future?”
Will.i.am: No. What’s paving the way for the future of music … is augmented reality and virtual reality. … Right now in 2018, you’re like, what’s the future of music? Not music! There’s always gonna be like, people are gonna push the boundaries on like, formats or song structure. What if I told you that today’s popular music structure, no matter if it’s underground hip-hop or underground rock, or pop, or whatever, it all is based on the limitations that record and vinyl had. … “I’ve Been Workin’ on the Railroad” was a song they sung over and over and over and over and over again … there was no time limit. 🎸🎸🎸 Will Saunders PRS
"We have to wait for the consumer to catch up with technology"
: “The idea of augmented reality is exciting because right now it’s being used. It is something that goes directly onto mobile devices. That means you don’t need a headset… The idea of the physical and the digital coexisting at the same time is incredibly powerful…
But the consumer adoption of those technologies isn’t there just yet; it will come, but right now you can only get it in specific locations. In China this is a massively growing space right now – social VR and VR in physical places.
I am not a sceptic – this is a question of ‘when’ and not ‘if’ with regards to adoption. It’s really about the processing power of technologies… It’s about the speed with which technology can deliver on the promise of technologies.” 🎸🎸🎸 Are you ready folks?
My album bundles "Otherside Of The Sky" and "Chronology" both come with AR experiences.
