Maria Shehata is a multi award-winning Egyptian-American comedian based in London. Her writing has been featured in Modern Love in the New York Times, British Comedy Guide, and BBC Radio 4. Maria has been seen on Showtime, Comedy Central, BBC, and Comic Relief. Maria was shortlisted as one of the Five Best New Acts at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe by The 99 Club and was named Pick of the Fringe at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe.
