About Shop Songs Collaboration Soundtrack Candice& the Crows Kitten Cake Fundraising

Candice is an artist and song-writer, homeopathic practitioner, and music maker. She explores music as a healing tool, in her work as a Gong Bath practitioner, and as a way to create connections, with her work providing children and young adults with the experience of being in a band, running an after school band club and more recently a Scout's band.

Between 2018 and 2022 Candice collaborated with Marseilles based Musician, Artist and multidiscipline talent, Felo Cydz, exploring themes of awakening.

Suspend Fire is their first album collaboration. This is a taster track of the songs from the album, released throughout 2020.

Candice has also worked with The Colour Project, creating soundtracks for two video animation mapping shows for Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival and Bradford City's Illuminate Bradford Festival in 2018. These were an adventure in sound design, drawing on Candice's foundation in Theatre.

Candice's earlier musical exploits include fronting the bands Kitten Cake and Candice& the Crows with her original bluesy folk with a cherry pop top, with the honour of playing alongside a greatly talented troupe of musicians.

Fundraising

Candice provides accessible band clubs for children and young adults - After school band clubs enable children to play their instrument or sing vocals along side others, working towards a set list to perform at Summer Fairs and Street parties.

Key to making this accessible to all, the club is low cost and enables children to have fun with their peers whilst learning and then performing songs from several genres.

The club runs once weekly, during term time.

Fundraising is essential to help to keep this project going, to ensure that there is suitable equipment for performing, insurance cover and general administration costs.

Donations are gratefully accepted via Candice's Just Giving page
