After delivering great performances in 2015, the 4 piece from Birmingham UK are now looking to win over new fans with their infectious blend of rock and soulful blues. ‘Georgia Pine’ has serious hit potential. Paying homage to the sounds of old blues and Stax guitarists, the EP has a modern edge that is entirely unique. While the five-track record is set to become available for worldwide distribution on March 4th, the first single off this new work, ‘Low’ will be released together with a video on the 21st of February. With crunching riffs jabbed by soulful vocals these new songs have energy and force behind them that are hallmarks of something big. 2015 saw Danny Core (vocals, guitar), Luke Davis (vocals, bass guitar), James Dudley (drums) and James Tranter (vocals, lead guitar) play at the Camden Rocks Festival in London, as well as two Time Out London concerts including The Time Out Best of Rising Stars 2015 at London’s sold out Jazz Café. A tour as support act for American musician Brantley Gilbert has already been confirmed for later this spring.
In addition they have been featured on Richer Unsigned as Artist of the Week for 2016; as well as on The Fred Perry subculture Spotify Playlist as The Ones to Watch for 2016, recommended by This Feeling who have tipped Catfish and the Bottlemen 2013, Bohicas 2014, Blossoms 2015. On top of that, the lead single 'Shake Me Down' from their previous EP has had over 111 thousand streams on Soundcloud. This has earned the band features by numerous blogs and sites, among them Fred Perry, hillydilly and Indie Shuffle. Following its appearance at the top of the Hype Machine chart it was featured as Classic Rock Track of the week.
