The official website for Brighton based rock band EL MOONO.

Metal Hammer's Ones to Watch 2022. Signing to Lockjaw Records marks a new era for Brighton alt-rock quartet El Moono. Following Small Pond released single Thanks for Nothing in 2019, and heavy touring around the UK & Europe with the likes of Black Peaks, Phoxjaw, Haggard Cat, Fangclub, Press to MECO and more - El Moono are back with a vengeance and a new record (TBA). Recorded at The Old Chapel Studios with Sam Coveney and mastered by Tom Hill at the Bookhouse Studio, it explores themes of human self-destruction and depression, containing seven emotive tracks that flow together to create an overarching musical narrative with poignant concepts. With influences of rock, hardcore, metal and grunge, the off-kilter and oftentimes mind-bending riffs, emotive songs and expressive lyricism combine to create a sound that’s difficult to pigeonhole. Don’t sleep on these up and coming trailblazers - El Moono are here to stay.

"Temple Corrupted is utterly amazing" - Kerrang!

“Riffs, riffs and slightly more riffs.” 8/10 - Metal Hammer

“Fusing the seismic riffs of grunge with the atmospherics of post-rock to arresting effect” - Guitar World
