Auld started as one man from Kilburn making 'Melancholic Pop' and is now 6 people from Kilburn making 'Melancholic Pop' Somewhere in between Arcade Fire and The Pogues. Our debut album 'Mainstream Music' is out on the 15th of March. We just sold out The Paper Dress Vintage in Hackney. We've played several other incredible shows across the country including the highlight at the Union Chapel whilst supporting Slow Club. Our live shows are raw and refined. We want to make you dance and want to make you cry. You can see a recent clip from one of our shows in the side bar. Underneath is some music from Spotify and some nice things some professional music people have said about us.

'Auld's embracing of artists that tout a unique sound without gravitating away from captivating melodies and aesthetics rings true in his own project... meshes yearning vocals with a variety of synths and guitar work. This is a very fine piece of songwriting and production from the promising Auld" – Obscure Sound

Auld brings a fresh sense combining modern pop-rock and electronica with sweeping elements of 80s romantics like Spandau Ballet and Ultravox, and more modern parallels such as Arcade Fire” - The Record Stache

"Incredibly diverse and unique" - Born Music

"The music industry needs more artists like Auld right now" - Music Musings and such

"In true form of artists such as The Church, U2, and The National, Auld has clearly found their voice in the new music scene. Auld clearly stands out among new releases with a future classic that will keep the listener at just enough distance to hear the music yet close enough to listen to the feeling" - Jammerzine

'There is something of The Pixies and Interpol in the music of Auld, but on the whole, this band is paving new ground with a fresh post post punk sound that might hearken back to the ’80’s but is most definitely rooted in the teens. This is great music from a praiseworthy band. Pitts has one of the remarkable voice that sounds like Tom Waits not smoking and drinking all his life, but with the same bitterness. And the yelps provided by Hearne (and her great backing vocals) adds a surprise to the whole sound, enriching it. The whole band rocks like hell. What a great entry in the post punk category.'
