The Illicits are a 4 piece Rock band from Blackburn, Lancashire

The quartet who recently released singles on Alan Mcgeeʼs Creation 23 label are planning to hit the road from September onwards whilst regularly releasing new material in the process. Before they even released their first single, The Illicits sold out a hometown show at Blackburns Electric church and performed live on Soccer AM. Since then The Illicits have released 3 singles, one featuring a guitar solo from Sex Pistolʼs Steve Jones swell as appearing on BBC North West tonight and Steve Lamacqʼs BBCR6 show. They have previously supported Liam Gallagher, Primal scream, Miles Kane, The Zutons and Dmaʼs. They are about to play another show at Blackburns Electric church, which sold out in 48 hours, and head out on tour in autumn/winter of 2022.
