London four piece, younghusband are set to release their debut single on the Too Pure label on the 27th of June 2011.

‘Carousel’ was recorded last year in London with Archie Bronson Outfit’s and XL signing Capitol K (Deerhunter, Ariel Pinks Haunted Graffiti and The Vivian Girls) and mixed by Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, Animal Collective and Stephen Malkmus). Released on seven inch vinyl and available to download, the double A -  sided  single comes backed with live favourite ‘Nothing, Nothing’.

Formed in 2010, the younghusband line up of Euan Hinshelwood (vocals/keyboards/guitar), Pete Baker (drums/pads), Adam Beach (guitar) and Joe Chilton (Bass/vocals) made their live debut at Truck Festival the same year. Since then their mix of electrified and electronic instruments, lo-fi psych, kraut and 60's pop have seen them steadily build a growing fanbase around the country. Frontman Euan Hinshelwood is also a member of Emmy The Great, who release their second long player in the Summer.
