"Best band i've seen in five years"
- Holly Thomas, Access-fest head honcho
"Complete with guitars and bongos and all-sorts...Great Stuff"
- Stewart Dennis, Radio Hampshire
Yellowgroove really are a "seen to be believed" type of band. I've always been of the school that when you see a band perform, you want something a little extra, otherwise stay at home, pitch a tent in your back garden and put the CD on. Luckily, these boys have that "crackle in the air" factor that only a truly great live band can muster.
Yellowgroove are what you get when you put acoustic Troubadour obsessed with Folklore with a Rock Band that make those truly great sounds they can only describe as "Yellow" moments. Folk-rock then? Maybe. Although as the band themselves professed in an Interview on Radio Hampshire earlier this year, Rock-Folk would be more accurate.
Having headlined Guestlingbury, opened Southampton's Access Festival and recently appeared on the Joiners stage, Yellowgroove are once again making the night a place of fires, full moons and wild dancing. Howl with the Banshees and dive in.
