Whatley & Stone have had lots of interest and various tracks played on local BBC radio stations around the country, over the past few months. BBC Introducing has been an amazing helping hand, as we had tracks featured on BBC Radio Lincolnshire, BBC Wiltshire, BBC Nottingham and BBC Kent. BBC Radio Lincolnshire deserve a special thank you for recently letting Gina loose to play a live session on BBC Lincolnshire Introducing Friday, 5th February 2010 as well as the James Wickham Show on Saturday 4th July 2009.
Here are some of the comments from BBC DJ's:
"They've been picked up by other BBC Introducing shows across the country and as the word spreads, their distinctively, spaced-out, sultry sound is helping the names Whatley & Stone become better-known all over the place. Wiltshire you need to know their names too! From the album Woven, this is Sleepwalking."
BBC Wiltshire Introducing, Marie Lennon
"Now this has really impressive vocals. It's got a Massive Attack style of production and that is something I really love. Now Marie Lennon, this could be title of the week do you think? I think so!
It's called 'I Cry You Lie'”
BBC Wiltshire Introducing, Will Walder and Marie Lennon
"Pulse - has a Goldfrapp feel, and we love Goldfrapp!"
BBC Lincolnshire Introducing, James Wickham
"Pulse - That's a really great track!"
BBC Nottingham – The Beat, Dean Jackson
