Universal You
Forming only in mid 2008 lead singer Gulzhan and guitarists Paul and Mark are Universal You.
Taking their name from a song by rockers The Cult, Universal You meld each band members considerably different musical influences to craft pop melodies, rock choruses and shredded metal solos into their own brand of edgy, anthemic and inspirational rock and pop songs.
Respectful of bands and artists like Queen, Guns 'n' Roses and RHCP's that don't stick to the same song formula, Universal You freely admit to taking on different styles and genres allowing cross-over appeal.
Last single "Your Sin City" released through their own label (Joesoap Records) found airtime on over 40 UK national radio stations and picked up excellent press and online reviews.
