First, there were two. One, a mystical animal searching for divine love. The other, a poetic genius with a heart of miracles. Their affinity for music from the heart brought them together to start Thrakish.

Jeff Allan and Valentin Tamas, high school acquaintances, co-founded Thrakish and instantly became best friends overnight. There was only one problem, the two of them lived three hours away in the wake of creating the band.

They stayed up late, wrote songs, and meticulously fine tuned them, all through the communications of phone and internet. Jeff auditioned vocalists, and none of them fit the niche. Valentin and Jeff decided to take on the role of lead vocals.

It wasn't too long however until Valentin relocated to Orlando FL, from West Palm Beach FL, and it was time to find a drummer. The right man for the job was under their radar the whole time, as he was rooming in their place of residence, right down the hall. Mijo Straney was the guy to lay down the grooves and complete the power trio.
