The Saurs are a three piece band from the outskirts of Barcelona and in only two years they have managed to carve out a place for themselves among the most outstanding rock 'n' roll bands of the city thanks to their flawless live act and their ability to bring together punk and bursts of energetic distortionfilled pop. Proof of this is that they won the renowned Villa de Bilbao competition and the battle of bands organised by Sala Apolo, Bala Perduda, a prize which led to them playing at the 2014 Primavera Sound. Since then they have not stopped playing in Spain and have been in the lineup of festivals including SOS 4.8, Low Festival, Vidafestival… They will also repeat again at 2016 Primavera Sound. The band has signed up with El Segell Del Primavera, a label that has released their debut album "Magic Shape". The album was recorded in Aclam Records with the production assistance of Oriol de Balanzó. "Magic Shape" is the perfect introduction to The Saurs, an album on which all their virtues come together: songs on which punk, garage and pop meet with energetic bursts of psych and hard rock. Besides, a solid musical background makes them one of the most interesting young bands of the moment.
