The Monotones are an Indie/Ska band from the midlands; the birth place of 2-tone Ska which is a heavy influence upon the band. We pride ourselves in the ability to write well crafted songs with a range of influences that people will leave a gig singing for days.

We are highly praised everywhere we play for our excepetionally energetic live performances that get the whole audience dancing. Whether fast or slow songs, melancholy or ecstatic the crowd will always be kept engaged.

We have played all over the country and supporting bands from various other countries! These bands include ska legends The Beat, Jerry damners (DJ set), The Cat empire (of australia), The Dead 60's, Sonic boom 6, The King Blues, Undergroud heroes aswell as Kasabian and Go!team  DJ sets!
