Music Glue - The Band Is The Brand

The Little Unsaid

The Little Unsaid is the name given to the music of a small chap called John Elliott who is based in Big London. A multi-instrumentalist and songwriter originally hailing from a quiet town in Yorkshire, John recently completed his debut studio album 'Someone Else's Lullabies,' which was written, arranged, and performed entirely by himself, with a little help from friends on the odd instrument that he can't play/is too small to hold up. The album was recorded in an empty bungalow in Yorkshire and was produced by Sonny, an established music producer who has worked with the likes of Portico Quartet, Shakira, and world music legends Ali Farka Toure, Tony Allen and Oumou Sangare. 'Someone Else's Lullabies' was released on June 30th 2010 on Sonny's independent label Spare Dougal Records.

With influences ranging from Jeff Buckley to Radiohead, Tom Waits to Nick Drake, and anything else spilling over with soul, The Little Unsaid's music is suitable for vegetarians and goes nicely with a dark room and a fine wine.
