Glasgow's Latin-inspired, pop-rockers, The Imagineers', combine infectious overflowing melodies with tight Spanish rhythms, surfy guitar riffs, and perfect harmonies - with a ‘distinctive west of Scotland twang' adding that something special to their songs.
After having released their double a-side single - "Mariana/ Fairground" - they took to CaVa Sound Studios, in the West End of Glasgow, to record their debut EP entitled "See As I Say" - after which they toured UK wide, selling over 1,000 copies within 3 months.
Stevie, Scott, Stephen and Ali's increasingly energetic live performances have earned them favourable reviews from the national press and mainstream Scottish radio. They have featured in The Daily Record, The Evening Times, BBC Radio 1's Introducing Show with Ally McCrae, Jim Gellatly's new music podcast, and a 5/5 review from The Sunday Mail for their sold out, homecoming gig in Glasgow's, Stereo.
The Imagineers have had an incredibly successful start to 2011, with highlights including 3 support slots with Glasgow's Kassidy (Mercury Records), Showcasing at goNORTH - Scottish Music Industry Event, playing for the members of The Scottish Parliament at Holyrood House, being involved in the International Pop Overthrow in Liverpool, touring the UK and being invited to play at The Wickerman Festival, 2011.
