It started out as a solo acoustic act under the name of Josh Savage. Then there was a time for change, fellow University of York students joined him which officially evolved into Taming The Savage!

They formed in May 2010 when they began playing gigs at various campus bars and house parties. Taming The Savage have already seen some success with 'Alarm Song' being played on BBC Introducing in early October and mid November, having supported Marina & The Diamonds and being reviewed as 'Another artist to look out for in the future.' - Mark Hussey from topoftheox.co.uk

The band will continue their steady conquering of York and the NorthEast, with a single and a music video to be released 2011.
