 Electrifying electropunk upstarts Robot Disaster are blazing through the indie scene with striking style, like a turbo charged bowling ball scattering their wooden peers into the gutter. They combine angular guitars with soaring synths, catchy vocal melodies and stompin' four-to-the-floor drum rhythms, aiming to create stuff with a beat, stuff that's deep, and stuff that's danced to by the kids on the street.

2009 saw Robot Disaster release ‘Guitars are Overrated' and ‘Boy' on indie label Gash Digital (run by former Ibiza Rocks residents Gash DJs) with a package of remixes from the hottest producers from across clubland. The band will be following this up with a live EP released independently in April of this year.

Second single ‘Boy', released in December 2009, received radio airplay from Kissy Sell Out on BBC Radio 1, BBC6 Music, NME Radio and Xfm London and Manchester and received 4/5 rating in Artrocker Magazine. The video was playlisted by NMEtv & Q TV as well as featuring on Cruel TV in Japan! Fred Perry & Converse Music have also run features on the band and first single ‘Guitars Are Overrated' was licensed for use on the soundtrack of the latest Suicide Girls movie in the USA due to worldwide blog exposure.

Profile support slots have included Calvin Harris, two sold out ‘Skins' parties in Bristol, Chew Lips, Band of Skulls, Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip, Late of the Pier, Dirty Pretty Things, So So Modern, We Have Band and A1Bassline.

Robot Disaster will release their third single 'Electric Shocks' (produced by Sean Genockey - Futureheads / Baddies / Ash) in Autumn 2010.
