Hi,my name is Ricky Rack and i am an solo upcoming electro pop artist from Holland( The Netherlands).
I'm 27 years of age and originally from South America (Suriname).
I've always listened to music my entire life since i was born, but never sat down and really thought about becoming an artist. But at the age of 15 when i first heard R-Kelly( I Believe i can fly ) i was totally in love his with music and music in general. From that moment i started singing, every now and then when i had time haha'. Cause at the time i was a big sportsman so i had no time for music. Till today he still is the main reason i started loving music so much and creating it, not to forget the King of pop Michael Jackson which still is and has a big influence on me as an entertainer and as a singing/ songwriter till today.
I moved to Holland when i was at the age of 20 years old for a better future. And i always wanted to be world famous ''ahaha'' don't really know why but i always felt like and thought that God made me for something!, and didnt named me after Ricky Rack for nothing 'lol'ahahah.
As a Proffeshional ( Basketball/Volleyball/Track&Field -800m + 21Km) sportsman i always enjoyd every min of it, till my back problems started showing up again i had to stop with Track&Field :(.
And that's when i started doing music and joined a group called The Willemstarz. I couldn't write songs at the time so the songs were written by the captain of the group which still is a good friend of mine J.I (John Harris). Late 2005 august I met John JI Harris and joined his groupa new R&B Upcoming Group which I participated in as a singer/rapper. Then in late October my best beloved friend and father passed away. That's when my journey began to become the Ultimate star that ever lived and to make my dad happy again. That's when I started taking music more seriously and by the year 2007 I went solo to do it my way, and started writing on my own and kept on practicing and perfecting myself in what I do and need to do to become the next best. My passion for music emerged, I developed a genuine interest and started to develop myself to become The Next Futuristic Artist. My father (may God rest his soul), sang with me at times, inspired me and still continues to inspire me to this day to sing from my soul. I thank God that he has blessed me with such a talented mentor.My vision of a performing artist is someone who not only can sing and dance but who is also able to communicate the content of the song, the message to the public. An entrepreneur and trendsetter but above all ambitious and not afraid to take that extra risk to stay ahead of the competition and work all the time at his utmost to keep doing the undoable ( Making History!).
