RED SHARK IN VEGAS Formed in June 2008, we play British gypsy grunge. We have been together in different forms for years, previously being signed to RCA. All hailing from the West country, Early rehearsals were easy for us as we all lived around the same farms and could easily play in one of the discarded caravans or sheds. The band got tighter and we honed in on our sound. Car boot sales were a regular thing and a great place to buy records. Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Led Zep were among our best finds and we were quick to start learning them! Are influences also run into Nick Cave, Robert Johnson, Gogol Bordello. Our current name came out of our favourite film script 'Fear and loathing in Las Vegas'. The red shark is the car they drive.
