Red Hook are a UK South-East band formed in 2014. Influenced by artists such as Melvins, Refused, and Mastodon amongst others, this group of musicians are infusing the scene with gravelly melodic dissonance and a hard hitting sound reminiscent of prog, grunge, rock and punk.
Since releasing their demo 'I Am The Shadows' in 2015 they have built up a long list of shows and events across London and surrounding counties.
This was followed by their DIY E.P. 'Same As Yesterday' in 2018, in which Red Hook explored the themes of suffering and the dark side of humanity in modern society in a savage and uncompromising fashion.
2020 sees the beginning of the Owlpowder series, Part I out 20th March with Part II to follow soon after.
