Pilgrim Speakeasy represents the dichotomy between urban and wilderness cultures, music that is fused by experience and essence.
The Anarchitecture album is the latest album from Pilgrim Speakeasy following the previous Moon Emperor album.
Anarchitecture embodies and expands upon the diverse feels of earlier albums, containing elements of psychedelia, raw funk, electronica, edgy rock and plenty of lead guitar exuberance !
There are touches of world music among the array of instrumentation, West African Kora , thumb piano and djembe are placed within a new context, as always there's plenty of poignant wordage to chew over, in the words of one interviewer ;
